City’s Mobile Office heads to Gugulethu next week

26 June 2025

Next week, the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be providing municipal services at the Gugulethu Civic Hall on Friday, 4 July 2025. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the services that come along with each mobile office visit.

The details are as follows:
·       Friday, 4 July 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Gugulethu Civic Hall, Mkhanyisi Mapuma Street, Gugulethu

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide-range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collection, and all other account enquiries.

‘It is always great to see residents coming out in their numbers and getting their municipal matters resolved during these mobile office visits. Not only do residents save time and money, but they also have the convenience of interacting with City staff as well as asking questions. Our team looks forward to interacting and assisting Gugulethu residents next week. Residents are reminded to bring along their IDs or municipal accounts to help ease the process on the day,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
